Jumper, the Northern Hare


He looks much like Peter Rabbit, the Eastern Cottontail, but there are some big differences between these cousins. What are some questions you have about Northern Hares? Here are some of mine:

Long ears and long legs make a difference, don’t they!? Jackrabbit isn’t solely an interchangeable term for Jumper, but all hares can be referred to as jackrabbits. So, it’s always good to ask which particular member of the Hare family is being referred to when you hear the term. Here are a few more things to know about Northern Hares:
