Before this next video, I just want to highlight an alternate block piecing for you. I mention it on the last page of the pattern and here is a refresher:

If you would prefer, you can rotate blocks as you work through Step 5 in the Cornerstone and Sashing instructions.

When sewing blocks to sashing to create a row, simply rotate middle and side blocks respectively 180° so that your River FG are where the Sky FG should be.

You’ll see in the picture above that it creates a cool, extra reflection all throughout the quilt top.

That is the end of the videos I have made for the quilt. All that is left is to put your long sashing units and rows together, and then add the borders!
