The Burgess Animals in Detail

About This:

One of our favorite Nature Books is the Burgess Animal Book by Thornton W. Burgess. We love Burgess and his stories and so we tend to linger longer in them than others. This page is dedicated to detailing our discoveries about the North American mammals he covers. Check it out and learn with us!

Below, you will find a search engine where you can type the Burgess Animal into the search bar. It will lead you to the post for that Burgess Animal! If you don’t see one, it may be that I’m still working on writing the post for the animal. If that’s the case you have a few options, you can type the species of the animal into a google search and check the websites to see which one would be best or you can go to the library and check out what resources they have there. Doing a little more research made our time in The Burgess Animal Book for Children so sweet! The library is a great place to go and visit along with The Burgess Animals in Detail.

Feel free to share your discoveries about each of the Burgess Animals with us and enjoy The Burgess Animal Coloring & Writing Pages!
